22 October 2026 | The 21st Asian King of Catering Awards Ceremony & 2026
Asia Top Tourism Gourmet Awards was held at the Grand Ballroom, Setia SPICE
Arena, Penang, organised by the Malaysia Food & Restaurants Association.
The event was attended by YBrs. Mr Mohd Roslan Abdullah, Senior Director of the
Domestic Promotion and Events Division, Tourism Malaysia. Also present was Mr
Abdul Hadi Che Man, Director of Tourism Malaysia Northern Region Office.
The
event serves as a platform to celebrate excellence in the food and beverage
(F&B) industry while promoting the diversity of culinary offerings and rich
food heritage across Asia. It also highlights the potential of gastronomy
tourism in attracting international visitors and creating opportunities for
industry collaboration.
Through
initiatives that showcase Malaysia’s diverse food culture and unique local
flavours, Tourism Malaysia continues to support efforts to strengthen the
country’s position as a preferred destination for gastronomy tourism, offering
visitors authentic and memorable culinary experiences.
