KUALA
LUMPUR — Lufthansa today launched its new nonstop service between Kuala Lumpur
and Frankfurt, strengthening air connectivity between Malaysia, Germany and the
wider European market while providing greater access for travellers between
Southeast Asia and Europe.
Operating
five times a week year-round, the new service is operated by a Boeing 787-9
Dreamliner with 287 seats across Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class,
featuring Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin. The service provides direct access to
Frankfurt, one of Europe’s major aviation hubs, with onward connections to more
than 150 destinations across Europe.
The
new connection provides greater travel options for leisure and business
travellers while supporting tourism growth, increasing visitor flows and
creating wider opportunities for Malaysia’s tourism industry through stronger
trade and people-to-people links with Germany and Europe.
