Malaysia Airlines Offers Year Round Daily Frequencies from Auckland to Kuala Lumpur


Subang, 15November 2013: Malaysia Airlines is pleased to announce that it will be offering year-round direct daily services between Auckland and Kuala Lumpur effective 30 March 2014.
Due to the positive response of Malaysia Airlines additional seasonal 7th weekly frequency, the national carrier of Malaysia will be officially operating daily from Auckland and Kuala Lumpur from the end of March 2014.
The additional service MH132 will depart Auckland every Monday at 1.15am and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 7.40am, in addition to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
The return flight, MH133 leaves Kuala Lumpur on Sunday in addition to Tuesday, Thursday and Friday departing at 8.45am and scheduled to arrive in Auckland 10.45pm the following day.
The updated flight schedule on this route is detailed below, with additional flights highlighted in red.

The daily flights will be operated by the B777-200 aircraft with 35 Business class and 247 Economy seats, providing a total weekly capacity of 1974 seats in each direction.
Malaysia Airlines’ Regional Senior Vice President, Australia/New Zealand/South-West Pacific, Mr Lee Poh Kait said, “The service has been well patronised and the increased frequency between Auckland and Kuala Lumpur is in line with Malaysia Airlines’ continued efforts to further strengthen its position and competitive edge across the Australia/New Zealand market.”
“We have also recently increased more capacity into Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, as well as introduced Darwin as the sixth online destination in Australia. Malaysia Airlines passengers travelling from Australia/New Zealand will benefit from improved connectivity through the airlines’ hub in Kuala Lumpur to other destinations within the network across Asia, to Europe and beyond,” he added.

Malaysia Airlines web check-in is open 48 hours and up to 90 minutes before departure. The web check-in is however not applicable for travel on sectors Kuala Lumpur to Bandar Seri Begawan, Kunming, Xiamen, Kathmandu, Los Angeles, Tokyo–Los Angeles, as well as sectors and codeshare fights operated by partner carriers.
