APTHAT 2013 To Showcase Health Tourism Potential In Asia Pacific Region

KUCHING, Nov 3 (Bernama) -- Health tourism is fast becoming a global trend and the upcoming two-day Asia Pacific Tourism, Hospitality and Technology (APTHAT) Conference to be held here from Nov 21, is expected to showcase its potential in the Asia Pacific region.

With most countries trying to capture a slice of the market to boost their tourism activities, the region also has vast offerings for health tourism, which will be outlined by Airtravel Enterprises Group of companies founder, chairman and managing director E M Najeeb.

The conference is aimed at enhancing those in the travel and tourism industry to be more resilient in the competitive market that is technology driven besides introducing them to the latest gadgets and help them identify opportunities propelled by innovations.

Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to hear success stories from some of the industry practitioners who will share their invaluable tips.
