Tourism Malaysia is pleased to welcome the inaugural Iran Airtour direct flight from Tehran to Kuala Lumpur, which arrived at KLIA Terminal 1 on 15 November 2025.
The flight was officially received by representatives from Tourism Malaysia, Iran Airtour Malaysia and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), marking a significant milestone in strengthening air connectivity between Malaysia and Iran. Operating once weekly every Friday with a 230-seater Airbus A310, Flight B9-9774 departs Tehran (IKA) at 2000 hrs and arrives in Kuala Lumpur (KUL) at 0809 hrs.
This new service reflects Iran Airtour’s
ongoing expansion into the Malaysian market and supports the nation’s strategic
tourism objectives in preparation for Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).
