Sepang, 14 February 2014: Malaysia Airlines today launched its refurbished Golden Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), after three months of renovation works. The 43,284 square-foot lounge, conveniently located on the Mezzanine Floor of the Satellite Terminal of KLIA, offers First and Business Class passengers an inviting environment of understated luxury and a quiet haven to relax.
Developed with a contemporary facade and luxurious ambiance, the Golden Lounge enables passengers to relax by creating an ideal space in which they can unwind before a flight.
Malaysia Airlines Director of Customer Services Dato' Mohd Salleh Ahmad Tabrani said, “Malaysia Airlines is committed to offer our passengers world-class facilities and services. The launching of our Golden Lounge today raises the bar for premium ground products and services even further.”

The Business Class Lounge offers a sprawling dining area consisting of a few sections – the Rise & Shine deli has wide selection of pastries, bread, soups, salads and dessert; the Noodle Bar specialises in Asian noodle delicacies and the Bistro Bar serves gourmet coffee, tea and juices. Malaysia Airlines operates three lounges in KLIA, offering an unrivalled selection of lounges, each with its own individual identity.
Meanwhile, the relocation of Golden Lounge at Penang International Airport is now completed and has re-opened for service. Similar to other domestic Golden Lounge, it is now located at the domestic terminal.
