MASwings offering discounts during Christmas season

In celebration of the Christmas season, MASwings is offering discounted fares from as low as RM25 to RM72 for bookings made via the Internet during the promotional period of the “Christmas Sales”. The six-day “Christmas Sales” promotion which began on Friday and ends on Dec 15 is for travel period from today until June 30 next year. MASwings’ customers are able to purchase one-way ticket from as low as RM25 for Miri - Mulu sector, RM47 for Kota Kinabalu-Mulu sector or RM55 for Kuching-Mulu sector.

MASwings commercial head Azlan Awang Tanjong said the value for money deal was offered in conjunction with the “Christmas” celebration. He said, most Malaysians would be returning home for the festive season and many would plan for a year end trip with their family to a nearby destination. “We are giving out 60,000 seats for grab and we hope people will seize the opportunity during our sales period as this value for money promotion is our way to showcase appreciation to our customers during the festive season,” Azlan said.

The “Christmas Sales” is the latest addition to the Internet promotional fares offered by MASwings. It is subject to advance purchase period, which require passenger to purchase their ticket three days or more in advanced prior to the departure date. A press statement issued yesterday said like any other promotional ticket, the “Christmas Sales” ticket was non-refundable, non-reroutable, non-endorsable and subject to seat availability. This value for money promotional fare is also applicable for reverse directional.

One-way ticket for Kota Kinabalu (KK) and Lahad Datu is priced at RM37, KK-Sandakan (RM37), KK-Bintulu (RM45), KK-Sibu (RM46), KK-Labuan (RM35), KK-Tawau (RM35), KK-Miri (RM35), KK-Kuching (RM72) and Sandakan–Tawau at RM25. One-way ticket for Miri (MYY) and Bintulu is offered at RM25, MYY-Sibu (RM37), MYY-Limbang (RM25), and MYY-Labuan (RM27). One way ticket fare for Sibu (SBW) to Bintulu is offered at RM25 and SBW-Limbang at RM52. From Kuching (KCH), MASwings is offering RM55 for a one-way trip to Bintulu, KCH-Sibu (RM30) and KCH-MYY (RM45). Fares mentioned are excluding airport tax and surcharges.
