PETALING JAYA: Being in the air on Christmas Day does not mean one has to miss out on the celebrations on the ground.
Malaysia Airlines is preparing a special Christmas in-flight menu for its passengers, which will include the traditional favourite roast turkey, it said in a press statement.
First and business class passengers flying to selected international destinations in Europe, Australia and New Zealand from Dec 24 to 26 will be served roast turkey breast with chestnut stuffing, buttered Brussels sprout, glazed baby carrots and new potatoes. A special Christmas pudding will be served for dessert.
Those flying economy class will be offered turkey juslie, herb roast new potatoes, buttered Brussels sprout, baby carrots, while a log cake will be served as dessert.
“The Christmas mood is also fostered in the Malaysia Airlines lounges at KL International Airport with decorations to create a festive ambience. “Lounge visitors can also enjoy roast turkey, gingerbread, cinnamon stars, Christmas stollen and candy canes,” read the statement.
The airlines also offers unique foldable e-cards at www.malaysiaairlines.com, with designs of characters such as “Remy the Reindeer”, “Uncle Santa” or “Snowman Sam”, for guests to send Christmas wishes to their loved ones.
