Over the last few days we have been talking to the participants of the Miss Tourism International 2012.
Today we introduce Miss Algeria, Miss Japan, Miss Paraguay, Miss Singapore and Miss Denmark, all of whom are excited to represent their respective countries and were more than eager to tell us about their countries.
MISS ALGERIA:
Algerian Ines Belkacem likes to travel and she hopes to one day work for her country’s diplomatic corps which would connect her to the rest of the world. The 21-year-old would like to highlight the treasures of Algeria, and address the prejudices against Muslim countries. “Algeria is a culturally-rich place offering a variety of food and drinks, and we also have belly dancing!” The 177cm-tall lass likes dancing and playing golf in her free time.
MISS JAPAN:
Tomomi Takano is a knockout who enjoys boxing as a hobby and profession. The 25-year-old feels nature is Japan’s best attraction, from the snowy mountains in the north to the sunny beaches in the south. “I would love to show visitors Japan’s beautiful nature and the four seasons. It is a powerful experience that should be shared with visitors.”
MISS PARAGUAY:
Representing Paraguay is Lourdes Maria Del Carmen Motta Rolon, a 168cm-tall aspiring model and actress. “All of the attractions in my country are beautiful. My personal recommendation is Monday Falls, a spectacular waterfall located near my hometown, Ciudad del Este.” The 20-year-old student who spends her free time reading, exercising and travelling, knows that there is nothing better than being connected with nature in order for a person to feel good.
MISS SINGAPORE: Louissa Lavnea Thomas, 23, spends her time by going to the gym and playing sports. The student who aspires to be a psychologist, lists Gardens by the Bay as a must-see attraction in Singapore. “Gardens by the Bay signifies the essence of Singapore, a city in a garden. She cites Denmark’s capital as a must-visit attraction, particularly the statue of The Little Mermaid. The Little Mermaid was a very famous story written by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.
