AirAsia Offers Promotions For Visit Malaysia Year, Chinese New Year

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- AirAsia adds to the Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014 celebration with exciting promotional base fares from as low as RM14 one-way with airport tax and fuel surcharge from RM26 to domestic destinations.

The destinations include Alor Setar, Penang, Johor Baharu, Langkawi, Terengganu, Tawau and Kota Kinabalu, AirAsia said in a statement. These fares are available for booking from Jan 6-19, 2014, and for travel period from Jan 6, 2014 to March 31, 2014.

AirAsia is also offering additional flights during Chinese New Year (CNY) to cater to the expected surge in travellers during the festive period. The additional flights, offering travellers more departure time options, will be daily from Jan 28 - Feb 5, 2014.

The routes with additional frequencies for CNY are Kuala Lumpur-Penang, Penang-Johor Baharu, Penang-Kuching and Singapore-Kuching. Bookings can be made online at www.airasia.com and via AirAsia's mobile apps which are available on iPhone, Android devices, Blackberry Z10 and now on the Windows Phone platform as well.
