JOHOR BARU: The first leg of the Matta Fair this year, projected to generate an estimated RM15 million in sales turnover, will be held at the Austin International Convention Centre (AICC) here.
The three-day travel and tourism fair, scheduled between March 8 and 10, offers a comprehensive range of travel and holiday products conveniently showcased under one roof.
This year's fair will feature participation from key players, including Johor Tourism and the Langkawi Development Authority (Lada).
Visitors to the Johor-leg fair can expect enticing bargains on domestic and international packages, including Umrah trips and discounted airline tickets.
Admission to the fair is free, and those who purchase packages are entitled to participate in a lucky draw with attractive prizes.
Matta Fair organisers urge visitors to purchase tour packages through licensed travel agents approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) to safeguard against the rising cases of online scams.
