Malaysia's undisputed Queen of Pop-Jazz Dato’
Sheila Majid kicked off her singing career in 1985 and has since released 8
albums, including the latest ‘Boneka’ and held over 40 concerts and showcases
around the world.
After her solo concert in Dewan Philharmonic
Orchestra KLCC in 2010, Dato’ Sheila Majid has been busy with overseas
invitations. She had, however, always hoped to have another concert in Stadium
Negara again, following her first ‘Legenda’ concert there in 1991.
Fast forward to 2017, she returns with ‘Sheila
Majid: The Concert Kuala Lumpur 2017’ which promises to pamper and
captivate audiences with her soothing vocals, catchy lyrics and moving melodies
at Stadium Negara, on 5 August 2017. Not only that, she also has
another surprise for her fans, bringing with her, her latest album release,
‘Boneka’ after 13 years!
A legend in Malaysia’s music industry, she is
still going on strong, even after an illustrious career spanning over three
decades. ‘Sinaran’, ‘Warna’, and ‘Legenda’, broke racial and age barriers,
making her a household name not only locally, but internationally too. Inspired
by a quote that “May Music Keep Us Together”, fans can expect a stellar song
list ranging from her classics to her new album.
Organized by IME Malaysia, produced by
More Entertainment, and supported by the artiste management Magada
Entertainment, the much anticipated concert sees Dato’ Sheila only wanting
the best performance for her fans, by integrating million-dollar audio systems,
a team of 100 professionals, the world’s leading group of top musicians and the
cooperation of Music Producer, Mac Chew.
