Director of Package Development Division represented Tourism Malaysia on behalf
of the Director General of Tourism Malaysia at the Turkish Airlines Kuala
Lumpur Tower Run International Challenge 2026 (KLTRIC2026), held at Kuala
Lumpur Tower, Kuala Lumpur.
The 24th edition of KLTRIC2026, themed “Victory is Vertical”,
brought together more than 2,000 local and international participants to take
on the challenge of conquering 1,608 steps at one of Malaysia’s most iconic
landmarks. The event also featured a new finishing point at Sky Garden,
offering participants a distinctive sporting experience while further
highlighting Kuala Lumpur as a destination for sports tourism.
The event was graced by Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng, Chairman
of LSH Capital Berhad, and attended by Mr. Khairil Faizal Hj Othman, Chief
Executive Officer of Kuala Lumpur Tower; Mr. Mustafa Kemal Kizilay, General
Manager of Turkish Airlines (Malaysia); Mr. Shazman Shahid, Head of Group
Corporate Communications & Marketing, AmBank Group; Mr. Faizal bin Mahmod,
Director, Department of Culture, Arts, Tourism and Sports, Kuala Lumpur City
Hall (DBKL); Mr. Abdul Razak bin Abdul Rashid, Assistant Director, Sports
Development Division, National Sports Council; and Tuan Yusri bin Basri, Deputy
Director of the Fire and Rescue Department of Kuala Lumpur.
