Air Asia flies again to Auckland via Gold Coast daily


PETALING JAYA: Air Asia X on Tuesday launched its new route - Kuala Lumpur to Auckland via the Gold Coast - starting March 22.
New Zealand High Commissioner to Malaysia John Subritzky officially launched the route together with AirAsia X Group chief executive officer (CEO) Kamarudin Meranun, AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes, and AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail.
Customers will now be able to fly between Kuala Lumpur and Auckland, New Zealand with a stopover at Gold Coast, Australia on daily flights.
"We're excited to be back in NZ to launch this service, KL to Auckland via Gold Coast," Benyamin said on Air Asia’s Twitter page.
Currently, there is a promotion for all-in-fares from RM499 economy and RM1,499 for Premium Flatbed seats, both one-way journeys.
Bookings for the promotional fares will open from tomorrow to Jan 24 for flights between Mar 22, 2016 and Feb 5, 2017.
