PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines is increasing the frequency of its Kuala Lumpur-Mumbai flights to 12 times weekly from next month. MAS commercial director Dr Hugh Dunleavy said an additional service would be added to the current daytime schedule that was introduced last September.
Starting June 3, daytime services from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai on flight MH174 depart every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with Monday being the new day in the schedule.
The MH174 flight departs Kuala Lumpur at 9.20am and arrives at its destination at 11.45am, and returns as flight MH175 the same day, departing Mumbai at 12.40pm and touching down in Kuala Lumpur at 8.20pm.
Dunleavy said the daytime frequencies had also improved MAS' connectivity to and from Australia, New Zealand and other points in Asean nations. “We are deploying our newest B738 aircraft on this route to bring the comfort level of guests to a higher level,” said Dunleavy in statement yesterday.
Passengers are encouraged to book their flights via www.malaysiaairlines.com, MAS ticketing offices, MHbuddy on Facebook, call 1-300-88-3000 or visit appointed travel agents.
