JOHOR BARU: After the opening of Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and The Little Big Club, Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd unveiled LAT's Place at Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park.
LAT's Place is an animation themed restaurant, where patrons can enjoy a unique interactive experience with characters from Malaysia's very own iconic Latoons from Datuk Lat's Kampung Boy comic.
To ensure that it stayed true to the comic, Themed Attractions and Resorts worked closely with Lat, whose real name is Mohd Nor Khalid.
LAT's Place caters to families and children aged above 4. It features two show-time sessions, lunch starts at 12.30pm and dinner at 6pm.
LAT's Place is treating guests who are MyKad holders with a special promotion until March 15. The tickets are priced at RM120 and RM75 for adults' and children's, respectively, which is inclusive of either vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals. But, with the offer, the tickets are priced at RM88 and RM60, respectively for adults and children. Bookings are essential.
The special offer is part of the company's initiative to encourage visitors to experience for themselves Malaysia's iconic comic characters coming to life.
Guests will be transported to a quaint kampung setting and experiencing the familiar sights and sounds of a typical kampung. As they step into the restaurant, they will immediately feel the warm welcome of the friendly attendants and performers.
Guests will be greeted with a welcome song that truly represents Malaysian hospitality. Patrons will also have the pleasant experience of being welcomed, greeted and entertained by characters from the Kampung Boy comic as they enjoy their dining experience.
