NATIONAL CULTURAL HERITAGE - JOHOR CHINGAY PROCESSION
The 140-year-old Johor Bahru Chingay procession is expected to be merrier this year after the declaration of Chingay as a national cultural heritage by the Prime Minister of Malaysia last year.
The Chinese New Year in Johor Bahru does not end with Chap Goh Mei but only until the procession is over. The highlights would be on the fourth night where the deities parade together with decorated floats, stilt-walkers and other Chinese traditional cultural performances.

LET’S GET WILD – RAPTOR WATCH 2013
The nation’s biggest ecotourism bird watching event is back to celebrate the return of the migratory birds of prey on their journey back to their breeding grounds in the northern hemisphere.
Organised by Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), the Raptor Watch 2013 is to raise awareness on the conservation of raptors and their habitat in Tanjung Tuan, an important stop over site for the migratory raptors after crossing the Straits of Malacca. There would be exciting activities including games, performances, and much more for nature enthusiasts.

2013 FORMULA 1 PETRONAS MALAYSIA GRAND PRIX

PARAGLIDING ACCURACY WORLD CUP SABAH 2013

The colourful balloons are back to paint the sky! Themed ‘1 World 1 Malaysia 1 Fiesta’, the 5th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013 makes a comeback and will feature not less than 20 balloonists from all over the globe.
