KUALA LUMPUR: Rewards await Hong Leong credit card members as they will enjoy special privileges at the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2013 this weekend.
One of the highlights for existing Hong Leong MATTA Credit Card members is that they will be able to enjoy a 12-month 0% interest instalment plan for purchases worth above RM1,000 at the fair.
Members will also be given a stylish laptop backpack with every expenditure of RM1,000 and above in a single receipt. Purchases above RM5,000 in a single receipt will entitle each member to a versatile power bank charger.
MATTA president Datuk Mohd Khalid Harun said the instalment plan was attractive as it presented travellers the option to pay small amounts across a year. “The beauty of the plan is that it is 0% interest. Even I feel I should use this opportunity to purchase a business class ticket for a holiday,” he said at Wisma MATTA here yesterday.
Hong Leong Bank credit cards general manager Genista Tan said MATTA credit card members would have free entry to the fair, to be held at the Putra World Trade Centre, via a VIP express lane. “Those who sign up for the card during the fair will also gain free entry with a friend and enjoy up to RM100 cash rebates upon the card's approval,” she said.
The Hong Leong MATTA credit card, launched in 2007, is the official card for the fair. Among others, the card enables members to get a 20% cashback for travel expenses such as airfare, within 30 days from the card's approval date.
MATTA Fair March 2013 organising chairman Jeffri Sulaiman said the fair, covering 25,000 sq m, would have great deals including travel and tour packages, hotel accommodation and airline tickets.
“Many attractive prizes also await the visitors of the fair, including our grand prize of a Chery Tiggo 2.0 SUV in the MATTA Fair Buyers Contest. “Other prizes are business class air tickets by our airline partners Etihad Airways and Malaysia Airlines as well as Gintell massage chairs, two units of water fountains and hotel stays,” he said. The fair will be held at the PWTC here from tomorrow until Sunday.
