KOTA KINABALU: The Norwegian Sun cruise ship arrived here at around
9am on Monday, bringing a total of 1,818 passengers and 889 crew members to
Sabah’s shores.
According to a Facebook post by Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, the Sabah
Tourism Board (STB) extended a warm welcome to the visitors and thanked them
for choosing the State capital as part of their journey.
The visitors are expected to explore the city and nearby
attractions, experiencing Sabahan hospitality, local culture and natural beauty
during their stopover.
From Mount Kinabalu to the rich marine life along its coasts, Sabah
continues to position itself as a top cruise destination under the
#VisitMalaysia2026 campaign.
