It's Sia Sitok Sarawak year

The “Global Sia Sitok Vacations” campaign runs from now until July 16

SARAWAK is welcoming visitors from all over the world through its new marketing campaign "Global Sia Sitok Vacations", highlighting all that the stunning region has to offer.

Launched by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), the campaign is an expansion of the highly successful "Sia Sitok Sarawak" intra- and inter-state travel campaign introduced in 2020 during the pandemic.

Running from now until July 16, the campaign involves 51 merchants and 147 packages via the EnjoySarawak App.

STB chief executive officer Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor said: "With the success of the previous 'Sia Sitok Sarawak' and 'Sia Sitok Sarawak Accommodation' campaigns, we hope to welcome three million visitors to Sarawak for 2023," he said.

Tourists can download and redeem the RM100 e-Voucher from the EnjoySarawak App, which is available for download on Android and IOS platforms.

The app offers a comprehensive guide to Sarawak's attractions, accommodations, restaurants, tour operators, healthcare, and spa & wellness operators, making it easier for visitors to plan their trip and maximise their experience.

The Global Sia Sitok Vacations Campaign is an opportunity for tourism businesses in Sarawak to attract more visitors by promoting their offerings.

Visitors can use a single voucher per transaction.

With the 26th edition of the Rainforest World Music Festival at Sarawak Cultural Village from June 23-25, music lovers can also grab the travel vouchers and attend the festival to enjoy quality music from an array of international and local performers.
