IPOH: The Lost World of Tambun's "adventure river" has been certified as "The Longest Man-Made River in Malaysia" by The Malaysia Book of Records (MBR), here.

The 660m-long river was built when the theme park was constructed in 2004. On a ride along the river one would encounter rumbling waves and giant sprouting toads, mysterious temple ruins and getting drenched by tipping buckets before reaching the awesome sight of limestone hills.
MBR research and development communication manager Helilia Juana presented the MBR certificate to LWT general manager Calvin Ho. Helilia announced that LWT adventure river was the first one certified as The Longest Man-Made River in Malaysia in the MBR. Ho said the river had always been a favourite among visitors.
"As a reward to festive revellers, the theme park is holding a 'Power-Up Your Aidilfitri' campaign from Aug 12 to 30. "Visitors can now download the Sunway Lifestyle Application on their IOS or Android mobile device to get a 15 per cent discount off for LWT entrance tickets.
"Besides, there will be a variety of cultural cuisine offered at Lost World Rumah Bonda during this period," he said. For enquiries, call 05-542 8888.
