Seremban Mall will propose for a pedestrian bridge to link to the nearby KTM station. |
The mall will be renamed Seremban Mall upon completion of the asset enhancement works, due for the third quarter of 2013. The goal is for the mall to reflect current retail trends and requirements, with more national chain retailers invited in to create an eclectic mix of retail experiences. Parkson, the current anchor tenant will be expanding and upgrading its department store too.
“In the process of being merged with Nilai into a city, Seremban will benefit greatly once the facelift has been completed as the refreshed mall will surely attract more visitors from the surrounding suburbs and also greater parts of Negeri Sembilan,” said Allstones chairman, K.H. Sim.
“Furthermore, the soon-to-be completed electric train to Gemas will also help bring more people into Seremban. With the KTM station located directly opposite the mall, we will be putting up a proposal to the local council to build a pedestrian bridge to provide a direct link from outside the KTM station to the mall.”
Seremban Parade is owned by TMW Asia Property Fund 1, a German based property fund which is managed by an American real estate investment manager.
