Tune Hotels spreads wings to Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR: Tune Hotels has spread its wings to the Philippines with the official opening today of the 165-room Tune Hotel Angeles City airport hotel, providing convenience to passengers of Diosdado Macapagal International Airport.

"There is huge potential in the Philippines market due to its geographical location and we are excited to participate and play a key role in the robust tourism and travel industry of the Philippines," said Tune Hotels group chief executive officer Mark Lankester in a statement today. The Tune Hotel Angeles City is owned and operated by Red Planet Hotels under a franchise agreement with Tune Hotels.

"Angeles City is just the beginning for what we have planned for the Tune Hotels concept in the Philippines," said Red Planet chief executive officer Tim Hansing. The global value hotel chain has received over three million guests since Tune Hotel opened for business in Kuala Lumpur five years ago.
