The F1 Rocks concert franchise is set to add an extra dash of glamour to next month’s F1 Malaysian Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur after industry sources revealed that two star-packed concerts will be held at KLCC on March 23 and 24.
Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue will headline the first night's event on March 23 alongside a host of yet-to-be-announced support acts. Minogue, 43, will make her full length live debut in Kuala Lumpur with this F1 Rocks concert. The singer, who is known as the Princess of Pop, has come a long way since her girl-next-door image and pop hits made her a household name in the late 1980s.
After 25 years in the pop business, Minogue's music has evolved and stayed relevant with the times. Fans can expect a sassy and sexy career-spanning live set from Minogue, who has 11 studio albums to her name, and contemporary hits like 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head', 'Spinning Around', 'All The Lovers' and 'Slow'.
On March 24, American R&B star Kelis, 32, holds down the party at the same venue with a host of local acts and deejays. The New York-based singer, who has five albums, and dance-savvy hits like 'Caught Out There', 'Milkshake', 'Trick Me', 'Lil Star' and 'Acapella,' will also perform a full concert set. Full ticketing and line-up details of the F1 Rocks concert series in Kuala Lumpur will be announced early next week.
