PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines has won the “Asia’s Leading Airline” and “Asia’s Leading Business Class Airline” awards given out by the World Travel Awards. The airline was selected by industry professionals from 160 countries in a global poll.
“These awards are testament to the performance of our employees in providing Malaysian hospitality to our guests,” Azahar Hamid, MAS regional vice-president (South Asia) said in a statement. The statement noted that the latest win was among a string of awards this year for the national carrier. MAS had won awards from Skytrax, Global Traveller Magazine and Smart Travel Asia.
