𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗘𝗛𝗠’𝟮𝟱

AEHM’25 marks the second edition of this unique relay race event, following the successful debut of ALEPS Ekiden 2024 (AEHM’24).

Each team consists of 4 runners, completing a 21KM relay — each runner covering approximately 5.3KM. The race features a traditional Tasuki (sash) handover between runners, in true Japanese Ekiden style.

4 runners x 4 legs (~5.3KM each) = 21KM total

Cut-off time: 3.5 hours per team

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿?

* Choose from 𝟲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝟭 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, including Men, Women, and Mixed Teams (Mixed teams must include at least one runner of the opposite gender)

* Only one team member needs to register on behalf of the entire team and provide a 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲

A vibrant celebration of Japanese and Malaysian culture featuring performances, traditional food, and cultural showcases — happening at the same venue alongside the race.

AEHM’25 is organized by the 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗣𝗦), with the support of the 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮. The event aims to promote healthy living, teamwork, and the enduring friendship between Malaysia and Japan.
