SINGAPORE, 18 April 2025 – The highly anticipated ‘GO Malaysia Fair’, in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia - Singapore office was officiated by His Excellency, Dato’ Indera Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore. The fair aims to inspire wanderlust and facilitate travel planning for both experienced travelers alongside those embarking on their first journey.
With over 35 booths on display, visitors can look forward to exclusive discounts on flights, hotels, and tour packages as well as cultural performances that celebrates the rich diversity of Malaysia’s heritage. The fair provided a unique opportunity to rediscover Malaysia, offering a variety of attractions and packages for the upcoming month-long June holidays in Singapore.
YBhg Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, stated: “Singapore remains as the leading source of tourist-generating markets, contributing significantly to the tourism sector. Thus, collaborating with the organizer is expected to motivate more Singaporeans to visit Malaysia multiple times a year, assisting us in reaching our aim of attracting 17 million target this year as we gear up for Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).”
Tourism Malaysia hosted a dedicated booth which featured six renowned Malaysian operators including Attana Hotels & Resorts, Berjaya Hotel & Resorts, Dusit Princess Melaka, Royale Chulan Hotels & Resorts, The Boathouse Pulau Tioman and SIREH Park (The Nusajaya Natural Heritage Trust).
On the eve of the fair, Tourism Malaysia – Singapore office hosted a seminar that provided the six operators with a dynamic networking session, bringing together 50 Singaporean travel agents. This created a valuable opportunity for meaningful discussions and set the stage for a successful fair with promising partnerships on the horizon.

Originally launched in 2024, the GO Malaysia Fair integrates both digital and physical elements, providing a diverse array of experiences that extend beyond traditional travel, transportation, arts and culture, with a particular focus on medical tourism.
