Subang, 19 July 2013: Malaysia Airlines will move its 14 times weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Medan to Kuala Namu International Airport effective 25 July 2013.
Kuala Namu International Airport, which will be replacing the current airport, Polonia International Airport is the second largest in Indonesia after Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta. The 70-year old Polonia International Airport is already the fourth busiest airport in the country after Jakarta, Bali and Surabaya.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH860 departs Kuala Lumpur daily at 8:50am and arrives in Medan at 8:50am local time. Malaysia Airlines’ second daily flight MH864 departs Kuala Lumpur at 3pm and arrives in Medan at 3pm local time.
The daily return flight, MH861, departs Medan at 9:30am and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 11:25am, while MH865 departs at 3:45pm and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 5:40pm.
