It’s promoting Malaysia — with music from Bollywood

MUMBAI: The first ever Indo-Malaysian Bollywood music album, Tum Mile (I Met You), has been launched here.
It features four duet songs including one medley, all sung by Toh Puan Bendahara of Kedah Toh Puan Noor Suzanna Abdullah, a member of the royal family of Kedah, and Indian singer Kumar Sanu.
The Times of India reported that the album featured timeless musical hits from the golden era of Bollywood.
Leveraging on the popularity of Malaysian destinations, the unique blend of audio-visual extravaganza is expected to appeal to Indian and Malaysian audiences.
According to the report, Tourism Malaysia chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said: “Bollywood songs, superstars and movies are household names in Malaysia and command an extremely high following even among the non-Hindi speaking population.
“With this beautiful musical compilation by two prominent individuals, one from Malaysia and the other from India, it is our hope that the album will further bridge our two nations together through music and tourism.”
