Y.E.S. Firefly tickets going cheap

PETALING JAYA: Firefly has launched a 20% off Year End Sale (Y.E.S.) for passengers looking to save on their travel plans next year.

The discount will be applicable to all its destination and for all flights, including those on weekends, school holidays and peak periods for travel from Jan 8 to June 30. The booking period is until Nov 25.

Firefly CEO Ignatius Ong said this was the first time it was offering a sale of this nature, which was “complemented with a longer travel period”. “What makes Y.E.S. so different from low-fare offers is that the passenger decides when and where to fly because the discount is applicable for all destinations and all dates within the travel period,” he said.

Ong said Firefly's tremendous growth over the year, with the introduction of a new destination and three new routes in the second and third quarters, had made it possible for the community airline to offer the promotion and reward those instrumental to its expansion.

“We hope this will further enhance the visibility of Firefly's exceptional services and connectivity within Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore,” he said.
