29 Nov 2022 - Tourism Malaysia Istanbul has been awarded as World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination (Kuala Lumpur) during Uzakrota Travel Awards, 29 November 2022 through online voting system.
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) received 803 votes while Turkiye (Istanbul) 753 and United Kingdom (London) 507 for World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination categories.
Hence Malaysia also awarded as second place for World’s Leading Country Tourism Destination with 523 votes after Philippines 721 votes while Dominican Republic third place 459 votes.
The voting began on the 03rd of October, and lasted until midnight on the 28th of October 2022. This competition registered total 201,967 votes with the 45 categories Awards. The voters are consist of online travel agencies, airline companies, hotels, travel agencies, travel tech from Turkey and East Europe.
