ETS Service To Be Rescheduled From Oct 1

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- The operation hours for the Electric Train Service (ETS) between Kuala Lumpur (KL) Sentral and Ipoh, Perak, will be rescheduled beginning Oct 1.

A statement issued by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) on Friday said the rescheduling was necessary to make the service more effective for passengers. It said the rescheduling would affect 20 trains, including the EG01 Gold, EG03 Gold, ES01 Silver, EG05 Gold and EG07 Gold trains.

Apart from that, KTMB would also increase the frequency of ETS service during peak hours for both sectors to every hour on Friday until Sunday. The move would involve the ES03 Silver, EG09 Gold, EG11 Gold, EG13 Gold, EG10 Gold, EG12 Gold, EG14 Gold and ES06 Silver trains.
