KUALA
LUMPUR, November 3 2026 - YBrs. Mr Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim, Director
General of Tourism Malaysia, held a meeting with Mr Steven Singh, President of
Navabharat Press Ltd, Mumbai, India, to explore opportunities for greater
collaboration and strengthen ties between Tourism Malaysia and media from
India.
During
the meeting, the Director General received an invitation to attend the
Navabharat International Business Excellence Summit 2026, scheduled to take
place in Kuala Lumpur on 28 November 2026. The summit is expected to be
attended by Shri Pankaj Bhoyar, Minister of State for Home Affairs, India,
alongside approximately 200 business owners from India.
The
engagement provides a valuable platform to strengthen bilateral business
networking, foster strategic partnerships and further position Malaysia as an
attractive destination for international business events, investment and
tourism.
Also
present at the meeting were Mr Solehuddin Ahmad, Deputy Director, and Mr
Zulhelmi Mohammed, Senior Assistant Director, International Promotion Division
(Asia/Africa), Tourism Malaysia.
