Tourism Malaysia participated in the Tashkent
International Tourism Fair (TITF) 2023 which was held in the span of 3 days from
15 - 17 November 2023 at UzExpoCentre, Tashkent.
The opening ceremony of Malaysia Pavilion was
jointly officiated by Umid Shadiev, the Chairman of Tourism Committee of the
Republic of Uzbekistan together with H.E. Ilham Tuah Illyas, the Ambassador of
Malaysia to Republic of Uzbekistan.
Headed by Mr. Edzuar Zar Ayob Azari, Senior Deputy
Director of Tourism Malaysia’s International Promotion Division
(America/Europe/Oceania), eight Malaysian companies are representing the
tourism industry at the fair namely Asia Premium Holidays, GM Travel House (M)
Sdn. Bhd., Fun & Sun Holidays, Embassy Alliance Travel Sdn. Bhd., Camar
Langkawi Resort, Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Menara KL and Batik Air.
An interview session with H.E. Ambassador was also
conducted by Mahalla TV, a local television company.
