KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) - In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014, the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) has produced a documentary called "1001 Destinasi Malaysiaku" broadcasted via Astro's 502 channel and BernamaTV.
Bernama Editor-In-Chief, Datuk Zulkefli Salleh said the programme produced in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia was first broadcasted on May 16 at 9.30pm.
He said the half-hour programme aims to encourage locals to travel within the country.
"The first episode takes viewers to several interesting places in Kuala Lumpur, a city of skyscrapers. "Featuring a different celebrity host weekly, it will also cover Selangor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah and Perak," said Zulkefli.
Divided into three segments namely 'Destinasiku, Terbaik di Destinasi dan Panduan', it also has a quiz for the audience.
The programme broadcasted on Fridays is repeated on Saturdays at noon, Sundays at 4pm and Tuesdays at 11am.
