Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur was listed in the “Top 25 Business Hotels in Asia” category. The Mandarin Oriental also ranked ninth for “Top 25 Conference Hotel in Asia”, tying with Grand Hyatt Beijing and The Peninsula Hong Kong.

Among the “Top 25 Leisure Hotels and Resorts in Asia” were Malaysia’s Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa in Penang and Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa in Kota Kinabalu, along with Eastern & Oriental Hotel Penang which made it into the list for the first time.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s low-cost carrier AirAsia was voted the “Best Budget Airline in Asia’’ for the sixth year running, with Jetstar Asia and Cebu Pacific coming in second and third respectively. Malaysia Airlines moved up a notch to rank fifth in the “Top 10 Airlines Worldwide” and fourth in the “Top 10 Airlines Business Class Worldwide” categories, while retaining its fourth rank in the “Top 10 Airlines Cabin Service Worldwide” category.
