This extraordinary event, held under the banner of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY 2026), brought together 30 passionate cyclists from South India for a 200-kilometer journey across the scenic landscapes of Malaysia and Thailand.

The event was led by Mr. Hishamuddin Mustafa, Director of Tourism Malaysia Chennai (South India & Sri Lanka), alongside Datoโ€™ Chandran Suppiah, Director of Dayasakti Travel & Tours. Participants experienced the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and camaraderie, cycling through stunning locales and building bridges across borders.

Participants began their journey with a 20-kilometer heritage ride in Penang, exploring the city's rich cultural landmarks, followed by a ferry ride to the mainland. A cross-border ride from Hatyai to Padang Besar showcased the seamless integration of two countriesโ€™ tourism efforts, with participants cycling into Arau, Kangar, before continuing via train to Ipoh.

The event concluded with city rides through Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur, a visit to Batu Caves, and a memorable cultural dinner at Saloma Bistro under the iconic KLCC Twin Towers was made possible through the collaborative efforts from key partners such as Penang Global Tourism, KTM Berhad, Transvel, Tourism Selangor, Royal Malaysia Police and Tourism Authority of Thailand.
