KUALA LUMPUR: Get ready to plan your holidays when the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents fair comes on again in March.
MATTA president Datuk Mohd Khalid Harun said the fair, scheduled for March 15 to 17 at the Putra World Trade Centre, would be of international standards to enhance its look and feel. “Visitors and exhibitors can expect, among other things, full carpeting of the floors in the exhibition halls, along with touch-screen information kiosks,” he said.
There would also be double-decker booths in Hall 1, he said at the fair's launch reception at Royal Selangor Club yesterday. Registration for exhibitors opens on Monday at the MATTA headquarters.
About 90,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair, which would feature 984 booths in addition to those reserved for sponsors and partners. “Along with the main event, we also have Chapter Fairs at states nationwide at scheduled periods between March and September,” said Mohd Khalid.
