Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) Pays Courtesy Visit To Minister Of Tourism, Malaysia


Kuala Lumpur: A delegation from the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) paid a courtesy visit to the honourable Dato Sri Dr. Ng Yen Yen, Minister of Tourism, Malaysia at the Tourism Ministry in Putrajaya, on Tuesday, 26 June 2012.

The 10-member delegation was led by the Secretary of Social Affairs and Culture Macau, SAR (SASC), H.E. Dr. Cheng U and accompanied by Tunku Iskandar Tunku Abdullah, the Malaysian MGTO representative. Among the topics discussed were the bilateral tourism and the similarities that both cities showcase, especially in history, culture and cuisines, when both cities were once under Portuguese rule. The delegation was enroute to the historical city of Melaka for an official engagement (the Macau Library Gallery Official Opening on 26 June 2012).
