LANGKAWI, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- The Underwater World Langkawi (UWL), the country's largest aquaria, is offering an entrance fee discount for Langkawi-born visitors during Ramadan. It said that during the campaign, from Aug 11 to Sept 9, adult visitors would only be charged RM10, while the rate for children would be RM5. The normal rate is RM28 and RM18 respectively.
"They should show their MyKad to be eligible for the promotion," it said said in a statement. The rate for other visitors is unchanged. It added that the facility would be closed 30 minutes early during Ramadan. The UWL, which has 100 aquaria, houses 4,000 animals and marine creatures from 500 species, among them anaconda, penguin and sea lion.
