Starting from November 2022, Uzbekistan Airways JSC resumes regular flights between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Malaysia, previously suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MAHB and Tourism Malaysia held a Welcoming Ceremony for Uzbekistan Airways ‘Reinstate Flight’ From Tashkent to Kuala Lumpur was held on 2 November 2022 upon the arrival of the first flight.
The 176 passengers aboard were welcomed by YBhg. Dato’ Hj Zainuddin B. Abdul Wahab, Director General Tourism Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Ammar Abd. Ghapar, Senior Deputy Director of IP AERO, Tourism Malaysia, and Mr. Mohamed Sallauddin Mohamed Shah, General Manager of Aviation Marketing & Development, MAHB.
Flights HY553 TAS-KUL and HY554 KUL-TAS will operate on a regular basis on 2/3 and 5/6 days of the week, according to the following schedules:
2/3 days of the week
• Departure from Tashkent at 23:55 (Tuesday)
• Arrival in Kuala Lumpur at 10:30 (Wednesday)
• Departure from Kuala Lumpur at 12:00 (Wednesday)
• Arrival in Tashkent at 17:00 (Wednesday)
5/6 days of the week
• Departure from Tashkent at 23:00 (Friday)
• Arrival in Kuala Lumpur at 09:30 (Saturday)
• Departure from Kuala Lumpur at 11:00 am (Saturday)
• Arrival in Tashkent at 16:00 (Saturday)
