Malaysia Airlines to increase Sabah flight frequency in September 2020

 

KLIA, 21 August 2020: Malaysia Airlines will be adding more flights to its service to Sabah in the month of September 2020.

 

Malaysia Aviation Group Chief Executive Officer, Captain Izham Ismail said, “Malaysia Airlines is pleased to announce that we will be increasing our flight frequencies up to 8 times daily for direct flights to Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau from Kuala Lumpur during this period.”


The increased frequency of flights to Sabah destinations are as above image.


The airline will continue to monitor passenger demand for flights to Sabah and shall adjust its network capacity from time to time to allow for passengers seeking to travel to the ‘Land Below the Wind’.

 

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Malaysia Airlines has enhanced its safety and health measures by introducing initiatives aligned with international safety and health protocols set by international regulatory bodies, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), World Health Organization (WHO), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and Ministry of Health of Malaysia (MOH).
