KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 -- Malindo Air will be resuming its Kuala Lumpur – Chitose, Hokkaido route via Taipei, Taiwan from Jan 25, 2020, with three weekly flights every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
In conjunction with the resumption of the route, Malindo Air is offering promotional fares for the flights, starting from as low as RM709 for economy class and RM2,989 for business class.
The tickets can be purchased via Malindo Air’s website, www.malindoair.com, ticketing offices, customer care centre and its preferred travel agents.
Booking period starts from today until Dec 13, 2019, for travels between Jan 25, 2020 and March 28, 2020, it said in a statement today.
"We are reintroducing this route as we are committed to create more options in regional connectivity, and we are highly optimistic of the market growth in this region. Our reintroduction of this route will surely lend support to the tourism industry in both Malaysia and Japan.
“There is a huge tourism potential to tap into in Hokkaido, and visitors can explore the mysterious Lake Shikotsu and enjoy the beautiful transparent freshwater lake which never freezes, even in the harsh cold of Hokkaido winter,” said Malindo Air chief executive officer Captain Mushafiz Mustafa Bakri.
