1MALAYSIA YEAR-END SALE Is Back! Get Set For Extreme Shopping Addiction

KUALA LUMPUR, NOVEMBER 17, 2013From trendy malls to open-air markets, the atmosphere is vibrant with the mood for the best shopping and leisure experiences ever, as only year-end sales can offer. Yes, the fabulous 1MALAYSIA YEAR-END SALE is back – bigger and better, events and happenings in hundreds of shopping outlets all over the country for nearly two months from November 16, 2013 to January 5, 2014.

The Minister of Tourism and Culture, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Tan Sri Abdul Aziz launched the 1MALAYSIA YEAR-END SALE (1MYES) 2013 today at The Esplanade, KLCC.

1MYES is one of the three major shopping seasons in the country. The other two are 1Malaysia GP Sale held during the Grand Prix from March to April; and 1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival from June to September. 1MYES wraps up the shopping frenzy with a big bang.

1MYES offers the best bargains, the best choices, and the best shopping experience in all of Southeast Asia.

With gigantic malls, terrific bargains, top value offers and great chances to win attractive prizes in many contests and activities organised during this time of the year, 1MYES has all the elements to cause “extreme shopping addiction”. But it’s an addiction that will end on a positive note – shoppers will get top value from their shopping during 1MYES. Everyone may end up saying, “It’s my extreme shopping addiction.” This is 1MYES 2013’s tagline created to entice both locals and tourists to experience fabulous shopping in Malaysia. The fun extends beyond the malls and markets to hotels, restaurants, tour operators and to transport companies which have all rallied around to offer tempting holiday packages, F&B deals and lots more, making 1MYES even more exciting.

Tourism Malaysia has released a special “My Extreme Shopping Addiction” booklet that lists major events and happenings during 1MYES throughout the country. The free booklet is available at all Tourism Malaysia offices and Tourist Information Centres.
