Langkawi (March 15th 2013): The famous Chenang beach in Langkawi has a new development – six luxurious villas capturing the essence of true Malaysian architecture – which has become the talk of the tourism industry is now set to open its door to the world come JUNE 2013.

Rumah Kedah (Rumah Ibu) has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the upper floor, and two separate rooms (Sungai Petani Suite and Kuah Suite), named after the two largest cities in the state. Rumah Terangganu is a one-bedroom studio unit with open sky shower and bath as is Rumah Negeri Sembilan; Rumah Pahang is also a one-bedroom studio unit with open sky shower and bath with disability access via ramp; Rumah Selangor is a 3-bedroom villa, on the upper floor with 2-bedroom (Shah Alam Suite) and on the lower floor with 1-bedroom (Klang Suite) which has a pool and garden access; and Rumah Melaka is a 2-bedroom villa (Ayer Keroh Suite and Alor Gajah Suite).

Each villa has a separate kitchen, living room and dining area except for Sungai Petani Suite and Kuah Suite, which are considered king-sized bedrooms with en suite bathroom.

The RM5 million project that was the brainchild of its director, Mohammad Shukor Dato’ Zainal Abidin began in 2009 with the aim to offer a unique product that complements the other luxury boutique resorts on the island and provide more options for tourists to choose from.
