KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Budget carrier AirAsia today announced additional flight frequencies to domestic and international destinations for the travel period of Jan 28-Feb 5, 2014 in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Penang to Kuching, and Johor Baharu and Kuching to Singapore are now available for booking.
With the expected surge in travellers during the period, the additional flights would facilitate smooth travel and provide ample flights for guests to return to their hometowns for the festivity, the company said in a statement here today.
AirAsia is also offering a special promotion in conjunction with the airline's double celebration of its 12th anniversary and 'World's leading low cost airline' award win at the recent 2013 World Travel Awards.
The airline offers flights with base fares from RM30 (excluding airport tax and fuel surcharge) from Kuala Lumpur to domestic destinations such as Johor Baharu and Kuching and international destinations such as Hatyai, Bali, Banda Aceh, Yangon, Macau, Kolkata and Guangzhou.
Booking for the promotional fares is from now until Dec 15 for travel on Jan 6-April 30, 2014.
Meanwhile AirAsia X is also offering special deals to destinations across Australia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Male and China starting from RM179 all-in one-way on economy and RM699 for the premium seats.
