PETALING JAYA: Hari Raya will be merrier this year with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the Cabinet hosting an open house.
The Prime Minister cancelled last year’s open house due to Flight MH17 which was shot down over eastern Ukraine on July 17.
This year’s event will be held at Najib’s official residence in Putrajaya on the first day of Hari Raya.
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah will host their open house at Istana Negara.
Najib and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor will also hold an open house in Pekan from 10am to 3pm on Aug 2 at Tasik Sultan Abu Bakar.
