Visit Malaysia gala evening

A delegation from Malaysia took travel professionals on a visual and cultural experience at The Langham in Auckland last night. The visitors are on a mission to promote 'Visit Malaysia Year 2014', and the evening included seminars and updates from Malaysian exhibitors, cultural performances from a 25 strong dance troupe direct from Malaysia, prize draws, a gala dinner in the Langham's Great Room and a welcome by Malaysia's Minister of Tourism and Culture, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.

During a break in proceedings, Tourism Malaysia arranged massages, henna decorations and Chinese calligraphy for the attendees to sample a few of the many options available in Malaysia.
