Airline soars into sixth year with gifts for customers

Firefly celebrated its sixth anniversary recently with the theme being Bigger, Better, Bolder.

The airline is expected to flourish this year with its new cabin crew uniform in place, recent website facelift, branding enhancement exercise, and its brand new ATR 600 fleet series that will be joining the family from June onwards to further strengthen its local as well as regional network.

“We are all geared up to further execute the plan that begun implementation in December last year,” said Firefly chief executive officer Ignatius Ong. “We thought that it was about time we gave passengers an opportunity to experience our renowned services with a renewed travelling spirit.

“I would like to convey our sincere appreciation to all of our valued customers, many of whom are regular business travellers and the rest being leisure travellers. “With your continued support, the company has seen incredible growth since its inception six years ago, both in fleet size and network footprint,” he said.

In conjunction with its sixth anniversary celebration recently, Firefly rewarded its loyal customers who are six top spenders and six frequent flyers.

There was also an ongoing ‘Captain’s Draw’ on all of Firefly flights, whereby one lucky passenger on every flight will win two return flight tickets. Custom-made birthday cupcakes were also given on board.

The highlight of its birthday campaign was a chance for one randomly selected customer to win six flight tickets, on six respective days. The campaign ended on April 6. For details on the birthday campaign or details on flight schedule, visit www.fireflyz.com.my.
