Its not easy emulating a phenomenon that has lasted over 30 years, trying to represent a group of songwriters and singers who were the only one in history to have five songs in the Top 10 Billboard all at the same time, and the only music group to achieve Number One on the UK charts in four decades. They sealed their achievement with over 110 million albums sold worldwide. The Bee Gees were certainly unique; the three Gibb Brothers – Barry, Robin and Maurice – sang in such tight melodious harmony that their vocals resonated as one. With the demise of Maurice in 2003 and the recent passing of Robin this year, the Bee Gees seem to have officially ceased to exist.
